Hundreds of believers
here in Uganda meet the 1st Friday of every month for our "Monthly Solution Prayer Nights".
During these all night prayer meetings we believe GOD for solutions to sturbon problems.
We would consider it an honor to pray for your needs also. So please share your prayer request

request and grant us His mercy and grace.

| IMPACT MINISTRIES Impact Ministries Uganda is a Jesus Christ centered Christian Ministry engaged in church planting and community development in East Africa. We teach and preach the Word of GOD and trust in the power of GOD'S Holy Spirit to bring forth the harvest. Impact Ministries preaches the life giving Gospel of Jesus Christ in both word and deed. We have passion for GOD and His Word and compassion for people. Our mission is to disciple the nation and bring help and healing with a lasting compassion that will please our Lord Jesus.
Today our world is being carried on a rushing torrent of history that is sweeping out of control. There is but one power available to redeem the course of human events. That is the power of prayer by God's soldiers in the name of Jesus Christ. God has placed a powerful weapon at the disposal of the Church Jesus Christ that can frustrate the very strategy of hell and cause evil and fear to vanish before our eyes. The nation of Uganda had drifted far from God. The spiritual conditions were low indeed. Church attendance was poor and sin abounded on every side. Suddenly, like an unexpected down pour, the Spirit of God swept over the land. Today churches are crowded; multitudes are unable to get in. Prayer meetings run day and night. Singing, testimony and prayer are the chief features. Nothing like this has ever come to East Africa with such far-reaching results. Pagans and Witchdoctors are converted and gamblers are saved in the name of Jesus Christ. Whole denominations are committed to prayer, churches filled and even theatres and public halls packed at noontime. Normal work stops as people hurry to special prayer meetings. Prayer groups meet daily, morning and evening. History is silent about great revivals that did not begin in prayer. This revival commenced after believers gave themselves to persistent prayer. Prayer meetings began with pastors and among students, but soon spread to the villages. In some villages, people agreed to pray together until God sent new life to the church. What is happening has come only in answer to prayer, because the nation of Uganda had come to the end of its resources and finally turned to God to plead for help. We need to stand with the company of the first disciples and, like them return to the Head of the Church saying; Lord Jesus, teach us to pray (Luke 11:1) Dear friends, the on-going revival in Uganda is providing the church with a great opportunity to establish the Kingdom of God by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are open doors in schools, hospitals, prisons and all other institutions, including the military. God has removed the obstacles we used to face. Now we have a wide open door of opportunity. That is why we are here. Impact Ministries stands in the divine and eternal purpose of God to bring revival and rebuild lives in the love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are moving with zeal to plant churches, multiply the prayer movement in towns and villages, give hope to the helpless children who have lost parents due to AIDS, and rebuild the lives of young school drop outs by offering them vocational skills and hope in Christ. Praise & Prayer: 1. Join us in thanking God for providing 4x4 wheel drive truck for Impact Ministries. This has been an outstanding prayer request. We thank you for standing with us in prayer and we extend our appreciation to all dear friends who generously contributed $10,000 for this car. We have a monthly budget of $200 for maintenance and running of the car as we carry out the great commission. 2. We also thank you for praying and supporting the Container of hope project. The container loaded with medical supplies, computers, food etc will be leaving for Uganda by May 1, 2003. 3. Impact Ministries has begun an aggressive strategy to construct a classroom and dinning block for the childcare project. Current planning sees us breaking ground in July 2003. We are believing God to provide for this venture. The children currently use the church building for classes as well as dinning. This Project is totally beyond our ability. We must have God's help or we will fail completely. 4. The 100 children under Impact’s childcare project are now in rags. This month we are trusting the Lord to provide $1,000 for clothing. We would like to provide two sets of clothes. One set for school, and the other for changing after school.
We are inviting you to embark on a personal relationship with a child who needs your support and encouragement. By sponsoring a child in the name of Jesus Christ you will bring hope and true spiritual light where once there was only despair, poverty and oppression. Initially you will receive a photograph via e-mail and a short personal history of your child. Each year you will receive two letters plus a Christmas card created and written for you personally from your thankful child. Through these letters you will be able to see the child's progress for yourself and learn about a very different way of life than you experience in the USA. Not only will you be a tremendous blessing to the child you assist, but in turn you will experience great joy as you see your child mature and grow in body, mind and spirit! Each child sponsored is this new program will only be assigned one sponsor at a time and only when a sponsor ceases to provide support will a child be assigned a new sponsor. Please always remember that a relatively small amount of money by USA standards does make a big “Impact” when dealing with poor and needy children. The cost to sponsor one child per year is $240 US. All funds go directly for the support and development of your child. Your tax-deductible sponsorship funds will help provide basic schooling, healthcare, clean water, clothing and vocational skills training. Each sponsor will obtain information regarding their child and may send gifts, such as clothes or school materials if so desired. These can be sent in small registered packets to the Uganda address below. Visiting your child: If you wish to visit your child here in Africa, we can assure you that you will have a very rewarding and heart warming experience. Please let the director know well in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements to be available for your visit.
